We want to provide you with a meaningful authentic Greenlandic experience, allowing you to understand how we live, how we work, and how our unique culture continues to define why Greenlanders are so passionate about their ancient heritage. The Weather!
Qassiarsuk is located in South Greenland and has a mild Arctic climate with distinct seasons. Summers are bright and relatively warm, while winters are cold and often dry.

Summer (June–August): Long daylight hours and pleasant temperatures.
Average temperature in July: approx. 10–12 °C, with warm days reaching 15–20 °C. -
Spring and autumn: Cool, clear, and changeable weather with beautiful colours.

Winter: Frost, snow, and short daylight hours, often with clear and still air.
The Arctic climate is an essential part of the experience in Qassiarsuk – the light, weather, and landscape change constantly, making every stay unique.
